This week was a short week so i don't have much to talk about. We were stuck in the house all Friday and Saturday
because it was El Dia Del Joven Combatiente. And on this day the young
people go crazy. And in some parts they flip and burn buses and shoot off
guns into the air. Most people just hangout in their houses after dark on Saturday because Saturday is the holiday. But for safety we had to stay in the house on Friday too.
As for me and my companion we are doing good. He has
been waiting for his visa to come through so he could go to Venezuela.
Well they have taken all of the missionaries out of Venezuela so his
mission has been changed to Chile Orsorno and heads down there on Monday April 7. So i will be getting a new companion again in a week!
As for an experience we taught our investigator
Marta again. She is the one who has no faith. We read Alma 32 with her
and talked solely about faith. She had lots of questions but when we
finished she asked us if there was a spot in the Book of Mormon that
talked more about faith. She wants to read more to help her understand
and to receive the faith she needs in Christ. So i am really excited for
her and her desire to learn more and try to help her faith to grow once
again.
Other then that nothing much happened. I hope you all have a great week.
Love you all,
Elder Ashworth
